Groundbreaking Celebration
Despite temperatures over 90 degrees, nearly 150 people attended a
groundbreaking event in July 2006 to celebrate the kick-off of construction of
the West Chester Medical Center. The event was held at the future site of the
community hospital, off the Tylersville Road exit of I-75. Attendees included
community leaders, physicians, Health Alliance employees and community members.
Groundbreaking attendees were among the first to get a look at renderings, floor
plans and site drawings of the hospital.
"We've picked a magnificent location. It sits right where we think some of the
fastest growth in Cincinnati is going to occur," said Ken Hanover, Health
Alliance president and CEO at the event. "Building a hospital at this site will
complement the services available at our other facilities. It will give
residents even more high-quality choices from our providers in selecting the
best health care for their needs."
